Amtgard is a non-profit group which focuses on live-action medieval fantasy role-playing and LARP (boffer) combat. Amtgard was founded in 1983, and has chapters world wide, including dozens of Texas chapters. The Duchy of Mordengaard is the local Bryan/College Station Chapter, and has been meeting since 1991.
